Job summary

St. John Vianney Parish School is seeking a caring, dependable After-Care Staff Member to supervise and nurture students in the after-school program. The role focuses on safety, positive interactions, and building connections across grade levels in a faith-filled environment.

The position is part-time with typical hours 3-5pm, Monday through Friday, offering opportunities to support homework, coordinate age-appropriate activities, and maintain a welcoming space for students and families.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and good judgment.
• Be dependable, responsible, and attentive to student safety.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Be comfortable working with students across multiple grade levels.
• Experience with children in a school, child-care, camp, parish, or similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Support and contribute to the Catholic mission and values of St. John Vianney parish School.
