Job summary

Compass Montessori Golden Campus in Wheat Ridge, Colorado is seeking a part-time After Care-Early Childhood Teacher for ECE through 6th grade. This 15-hour-per-week role runs on school days, roughly 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday when programs are in session.

You will help keep students safe, follow licensing protocols, distribute snacks, and assist the Aftercare Coordinator. The job requires maintaining ratios, supporting the childcare environment, and collaborating professionally

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ECT certification or equivalent is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Attend and complete trainings to meet licensing requirements.
• Maintain required student ratios at all times.
• Uphold body safety practices and abuse prevention training.
• Supervise children with safety first in mind.
• Assist in planning and setting up the childcare environment.
• Support housekeeping tasks and maintain a clean space.
• Maintain professional collaboration with colleagues.
• Serve snacks to children daily.
