Quantum Research International, Inc is seeking an Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO)/Administrative Support for our Facility Security Office in Huntsville, AL. You will help run a compliant industrial security program, manage personnel security processing, physical security, training, and classified material handling.

This role develops toward FSO-level responsibility, works under NISPOM and DoD guidance, coordinates with government customers, prime contractors, and subcontractors, and

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI.
• 2–4 years of experience in industrial, personnel, or physical security.
• AAS or BS degree preferred; HS diploma or equivalent acceptable with experience.
• Working knowledge of the NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117).
• Hands-on experience with DISS; familiarity with NISS and SWFT.
• Completion of CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities, or ability to complete within 6 months.
• Comfort presenting security briefings to groups.
• Strong organization and attention to detail; able to juggle deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Able to climb ladders and lift packages as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility security program and ensure compliance with government and company requirements.
• Initiate and maintain clearance records and investigations using DISS, eApp, and SWFT.
• Deliver new-hire security indoctrinations, annual refresher training, courier briefings, and debriefings.
• Support badging, access control, visitor processing, and security signage.
• Coordinate security requirements for meetings and admin staff.
• Review DD Form 254s for prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Keep security databases and access control systems current.
