Job summary

VTG is seeking an experienced Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) Developer to provide Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis support to U.S. Department of Defense programs.

You will design, develop, integrate, and sustain AFSIM-based capabilities while applying secure software lifecycle practices validated by an active CSSLP certification in support of DoD 8140/8570 requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 2+ years of professional software development with C++ on Windows or Linux.
• Experience applying secure coding practices and DoD cyber guidelines.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; active preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate AFSIM models, components and scenarios.
• Apply secure software lifecycle practices across the SDLC.
• Develop C++ AFSIM plug-ins and interfaces to external tools.
• Use scripting to configure scenarios and automate runs.
• Perform code reviews and vulnerability remediation.
• Contribute to CI/CD, configuration management, and test automation.
