Job summary

SpaceX’s Starlink Africa team seeks a Customer Success Manager to own a portfolio of reseller accounts, grow revenue, and resolve issues affecting activation, billing, and logistics. You will partner with engineering, support, finance, and operations to align Starlink capabilities with customer needs across Africa.

The role requires coordinating across regions, managing complex partnerships, and delivering expansion opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field or 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years owning a defined book of business with accountability for customer health and revenue.
• 5+ years supporting customers on a technical product or service.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Own Africa accounts from contract signature through onboarding, activation, day-to-day management, and long-term growth.
• Hit revenue targets by tracking readiness, shipments, activations, payments, and raising risks early.
• Keep internal systems current so account status, risk, and opportunity are visible.
• Monitor account health including contract compliance, KPI performance, invoicing, tax, logistics, and relationships.
• Set clear expectations with customers on timing and delivery commitments.
• Build account plans defining current state, healthy account, and next revenue.
• Identify expansion opportunities and new ways customers can use Starlink.
• Facilitate leadership reviews connecting Starlink performance to customer results.
• Incorporate customer feedback to reduce errors across accounts with cross-functional teams.
• Help shape Africa operations including country priorities, onboarding, and growth.
• Document processes that support expansion and scaling.
