Qualifications

• Previous property management experience required; affordable housing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or other affordable housing programs recommended.
• Understanding of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the property, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, collections, and administrative functions.
• Maintain compliance with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, HOME) and other applicable requirements.
• Oversee applicant eligibility, certifications, annual/interim recertifications, income verification, and required compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate resident files and ensure documentation is audit-ready.
• Market available units, process applications, conduct move-ins/move-outs, and maintain occupancy.
