MEB AFFORDABLE MANAGEMENT SERVICES LLC is seeking a Property Manager in Phoenix, AZ to oversee day-to-day operations of the property and ensure LIHTC/HUD regulatory compliance. The role requires experience with affordable housing programs, budget management, and effective coordination with the Regional/Asset Director.

Qualifications

• LIHTC and HUD program requirements knowledge
• Ability to comply with federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations
• Budgeting and financial oversight for property operations
• Strong inspection and reporting capabilities

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property including leasing, compliance, and maintenance
• Ensure regulatory compliance for LIHTC, HUD, Fair Housing, and related requirements
• Oversee all compliance activities, including certifications, income calculations, and TRACS submissions
• Prepare and monitor annual budget; control expenses within guidelines
• Coordinate inspections and audits (HUD, LIHTC, MORs, state reviews) and communicate outcomes
• Review resident files and manage rental applications, leases, and documentation
• Supervise move-ins/move-outs and conduct move-in orientations
• Develop marketing materials compliant with Fair Housing and affordable housing rules
• Generate and distribute required reports (daily, monthly, market surveys)
• Oversee delinquent accounts per policy and program guidelines
• Maintain petty cash and supporting documentation
• Keep Asset Director informed of major property issues
