Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Affordable Assistant Property Manager for the Jernigan Gardens LIHTC + Sec8 property in Orlando. You will support the Property Manager with daily operations, leasing, financial reporting, and resident relations to ensure a positive resident experience.

This role requires 2–3 years in property management, LIHTC/Sec8 knowledge, and strong organizational skills. A Real estate license is preferred and Yardi Voyager experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of property management experience required.
• LIHTC / Sec8 knowledge of affordable housing required.
• Real estate license preferred.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations of the property.
• Maintain accounts receivable, collect rent, post payments, and balance rent roll.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Lease apartments, process move-ins/outs, and renewals.
• Audit lease agreements and resident files for accuracy.
• Train staff on leasing, marketing, and general office operations.
• Assist with resident relations and problem resolution.
