Job summary

MRK Partners is seeking an Affordable Housing Development Associate to support projects from acquisition analysis through construction and asset management. The role coordinates with the COO and cross-functional teams to advance deals, perform market research, due diligence, drafting LOIs, and reporting to stakeholders.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, with potential bases in Boca Raton, FL or Collingswood, NJ, you will manage multiple projects, cultivate relationships with brokers, capital partners,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the affordable housing domain.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting applications.
• Proficient working with Monday.com Work OS and RealPage software preferred.
• Ability to read and decipher leases, contracts, financials, inspection reports, and title documents.

Responsibilities

• Model and instill company mission and values.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently at varying stages of development; collaborates with COO and company teams.
• Perform market research and valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities.
• Perform extensive due diligence and prepare analyses for COO review.
