Job summary

West Side Federation for Senior & Supportive Housing, Inc. seeks a Leasing Specialist to perform leasing and subsidy tasks, ensuring timely leases, rent registrations, and subsidy processing. This role supports building management and reports to the Assistant Director of Leasing.

The position requires experience in NYC affordable housing programs, strong data skills, and proficiency with RealPage OneSite. It is a full-time, hybrid on-site/off-site role with a 90-day probation period.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in NYC affordable housing programs.
• Experience with rental subsidies and income certification.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, CoC reporting.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rental subsidy applications, reports, and approvals.
• Prepare initial lease packages and coordinate with internal teams.
• Handle NYS annual rent registrations and data gathering.
• Manage a portfolio of ~1000 units, ensuring renewals and tracking.
• Support Section 8 rent increase requests and agency submissions.
• Maintain electronic leasing files and templates; ensure accuracy.
