West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing (WSFSSH) is seeking a Leasing Specialist to manage leasing and rental subsidy tasks within a large NYC portfolio. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Leasing and collaborates with Building Management.

The position is full-time, on-site four days per week with one remote day after a 90-day probation, emphasizing accuracy, timely lease processing, and coordination with city agencies and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• LIHTC and Mitchell-Lama rental program knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with NYC affordable housing programs and leasing/compliance.

Responsabilités

• Support rental subsidy applications, prepare submissions, and monitor approvals by city agencies.
• Prepare reports such as CoC rent rolls and beta reports for city/state/federal agencies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external parties on lease packages.
• Assist with NYS rent registrations, data gathering, and mail submissions.
• Oversee a portfolio of ~1000 units with timely renewals and tracking.
• Support Section 8 rent increase processes and related submissions.
