Job summary

The West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing, Inc. (WSFSSH) is seeking a Leasing Specialist to manage leasing tasks, subsidy processing, and rent registrations.

You will collaborate with Leasing & Compliance colleagues and Building Management to ensure timely leases and strong compliance across the portfolio. You will support housing development lease-ups, prepare required reports, and maintain electronic files with accuracy while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of NYC affordable housing leasing and subsidy experience.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8, CityFHEPS and related programs.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office 365.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; LIHTC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support rental subsidy applications including preparation, submission, and monitoring for approval by city agencies.
• Prepare CoC rent rolls, CoC beta reports, and ad-hoc reports for city/state/federal agencies.
• Maintain a portfolio of ~1000 units with timely renewals and leasing trackers.
• Assist with NYS legal rent registration and data entry processes.
• Update lease and rider templates in property management software and ensure accuracy.
• Participate in lease-up activities and housing connect tracking.
