Job summary

Pratum Co in Gary, IN is seeking a motivated Leasing Agent to join our team at an affordable housing community. The role focuses on leasing apartments, maintaining occupancy, and ensuring compliance with HUD regulations.

The ideal candidate has experience in affordable housing, strong customer service, and the ability to manage lease files and use on-site management software such as Realpage/OneSite. This is a full-time on-site position requiring flexibility for varying hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of residential property management experience.
• Experience with HUD/Section 8 is preferred.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Ability to operate on-site resident management software.

Responsibilities

• Process applications, verify income, and complete HUD paperwork.
• Lease apartments and promote property features and amenities.
• Respond to internet leads and conduct property tours.
• Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic and revenues.
• Maintain leasing data and prepare lease-related paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal housing regulations.
