Job summary

Pratum Companies is seeking a motivated Leasing Agent for an affordable housing/Section 8 property. The role focuses on leasing, maintaining occupancy, and ensuring compliance with HUD, state, and local housing regulations.

The candidate should have experience in affordable housing, strong customer service, and the ability to manage leasing data and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenues.

Qualifications

• Experience in affordable housing and HUD regulations.
• College degree preferred; ability to read/write English fluently.
• Minimum of one year in residential property management; HUD/Section 8 experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work seven days a week and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Process applications, verify income, and complete HUD paperwork.
• Lease apartments and promote property features to prospective residents.
• Respond to internet leads, conduct tours, and follow mystery shop guidelines.
• Develop and implement sales/marketing strategies to increase traffic and revenue.
• Maintain property knowledge and ensure accuracy of lease paperwork.
• Audit lease files for bonuses and ensure data entry in Yardi/OneSite.
