Qualifications

• Previous Affordable Housing experience required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or other income-restricted housing programs.
• Previous leasing or property management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Affordable Housing compliance and certification requirements.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Professional and dependable.
• Comfortable working with residents from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments and assist with maintaining occupancy.
• Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours.
• Process rental applications and supporting documentation.
• Complete income certifications and recertifications.
• Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records.
• Verify income and other eligibility documentation.
• Follow Affordable Housing program requirements and guidelines.
• Assist with LIHTC housing programs.
• Prepare and process lease paperwork.
• Communicate with residents regarding leasing requirements and documentation.
• Follow up with prospective residents throughout the leasing process.
• Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date files.
• Work closely with property management and maintenance staff.
• Help address resident questions and concerns.
• Assist with resident retention and maintaining a positive community environment.
• Follow company policies and Fair Housing requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
