Job summary

CRP Affordable Housing and Community Development in Midtown Manhattan seeks an Analyst/Associate to support its affordable housing development team. The role emphasizes financial underwriting, project financing, and closing management across LIHTC transactions.

You will maintain and analyze project financial models, evaluate financing structures, manage lender and investor diligence, and coordinate closing processes to drive predevelopment through construction start with senior team support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–2+ years of relevant professional experience; Associate level may be considered.
• Strong understanding of LIHTC program and affordable housing financing structures.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and analyze detailed financial models for LIHTC developments and related budgets, sources/uses, and returns.
• Underwrite new development and acquisition opportunities and evaluate feasibility and financing structures.
• Lead/coordinate closings, lender diligence, closing checklists, and third‑party reports.
• Structure complex affordable housing capital stacks using LIHTC equity, tax-exempt bonds, debt, and grants.
• Track milestones, diligence items, and closing conditions to ensure timely project completion.
