Related Affordable is seeking a Community Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Richmond, VA affordable housing community. You will oversee leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance with HUD/LIHTC programs, while building strong resident relations.

You will manage a team, drive financial operations, and deliver reporting. A strong background in affordable housing, supervision, and software tools like RealPage/OneSite/JD Edwards is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience.
• Expertise in affordable housing programs (HUD Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC).
• Strong financial acumen, including budget management and accounting principles.
• Experience with property mgmt software (RealPage/OneSite/JD Edwards).
• Proven leadership with direct supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise office and maintenance staff.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and admin functions.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquencies.
• Foster relationships with residents and handle tenant-landlord relations.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs (HUD/LIHTC).
• Oversee property maintenance and service quality.
• Develop and manage the property's budget and reports.
• Lead special projects to improve the community.
