Job summary

Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Legal Specialist I - Affiliates to support the Legal-Affiliates department with renewals, regulatory filings, and license maintenance. The role includes administrative duties, meeting support, and process improvement across affiliated entities.

You will assist with reporting, databases, and coordination of invoices, while collaborating with internal teams and affiliate board members to drive departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of administrative experience is required.
• Associate's degree, paralegal certification, or insurance-related studies are desired.
• Prior legal or insurance experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in insurance renewal processes for affiliates.
• Prepare correspondence for the legal-affiliates department.
• Coordinate and maintain processes, procedures, and databases.
• Assist with regulatory filings and affiliate license maintenance.
• Schedule meetings and organize events; record minutes and manage agendas.
• Coordinate invoice payments and reconcile accounts.
