Job summary

Horizon Hobby, LLC, located in Champaign, IL, is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Specialist to lead the day-to-day execution, growth, and optimization of our affiliate programs. You will manage partner relationships, coordinate product launches, and monitor performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in affiliate marketing, influencer/creator marketing, performance marketing, ecommerce, digital marketing or a related field preferred.
• Experience with affiliate marketing platforms such as AvantLink, CJ Affiliate, Impact, Awin, Rakuten or similar platforms preferred.
• Strong understanding of digital and social media marketing and the role creators, content and affiliate partnerships can play throughout the customer journey.
• Comfortable working with performance data and using reporting to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with external partners and collaborate effectively across internal teams.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple partners, launches, deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities while identifying and bringing forward new ideas and opportunities.
• Knowledge of the RC hobby or experience working within enthusiast-driven industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution and health of Horizon Hobby’s affiliate programs.
• Primary day-to-day contact for affiliate partners and support for Director of Digital Marketing.
• Proactively recruit and develop new affiliates, creators, publishers and other partners.
• Coordinate affiliate support for product launches, promotions and campaigns.
• Monitor affiliate and creator content across social and digital platforms, engaging with partners.
• Monitor and analyze affiliate performance, including revenue, traffic, conversion and partner performance, with reporting and insights.
• Identify opportunities to grow the program through partner development and incentives.
• Stay current on affiliate marketing trends and emerging platforms.
• Travel occasionally to support affiliate partnerships through events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
