Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred.
• Familiarity with LIHTC reporting and government accounting requirements is a plus.
• Experience with fund accounting systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to perform variance analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Record vendor invoices in AvidXchange and TangiCloud with proper coding and workflow.
• Record monthly utility bills and ensure timely payment.
• Track and monitor monthly invoices and expenses.
• Print checks from affiliate accounts as needed.
• Upload Positive Pay files prior to vendor payment release.
• Prepare payment vouchers and aging schedules; perform account analyses.
• Record prepaid and accrued expenses and related journal entries.
• Support audits with documentation and reconciliations.
