Job summary

Bitpanda seeks an Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Compliance Associate to design and maintain AFC dashboards, validate controls, and automate risk-related tasks. You’ll blend data analytics with regulatory know-how to strengthen defenses across Europe and streamline investigations.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL, dashboarding, and AI-automation experience, with English proficiency and German a plus. The role supports a hybrid work model with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Analytics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field.
• Strong SQL experience and dashboarding tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Metabase).
• Experience in process automation (Python scripts, APIs, workflow tools).
• Familiarity with AML, CTF, sanctions, transaction monitoring concepts.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AFC dashboards and monitoring tools for Compliance and Leadership.
• Regular quantitative testing and assessment of AFC controls to identify gaps and bottlenecks.
• Identify manual AFC workflows and engineer automated solutions; explore AI agents and low-code automation.
• Query complex financial datasets to derive risk insights and analyze patterns.
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, Data, and Operations to translate regulatory requirements into technical specs.
