Bitpanda is seeking an AML & KYC Operations Associate to mitigate money-laundering risks and ensure regulatory compliance across fiat activities. The role focuses on onboarding, reviewing SoF/SoW, monitoring transactions, and engaging with customers to collect documentation.

The position requires a university degree and strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in the cryptocurrency industry. Evening shift with hybrid work options and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or Law.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of AML regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Interest in the evolving cryptocurrency space.

Responsabilités

• Onboard retail clients in line with AML regulations across Europe/UK.
• Review Source of Funds and Source of Wealth for fiat transactions and low-risk accounts.
• Monitor customer activity for red flags and request additional documents as needed.
• Analyze financial data and explanations provided by users.
• Interact with customers to obtain required supporting documents.
• Conduct ongoing transaction monitoring and determine follow-up PoF/PoW actions while balancing customer experience and compliance.
