Job summary

Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing aviation technology and seeks a Radar Test Engineer to join the Test Engineering team. You will own testing and calibration of our AESA radar system and collaborate with radar, mechanical and system engineering teams.

You will drive test equipment, support radar integration in the lab and on aircraft, and assist with system certification to DO-160, DO-254 and FCC requirements. A BS in EE and 5+ years of RF testing are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional hands-on experience with RF testing and antenna range wireless testing.
• Ability to design complex RF test systems.
• Experience writing and executing test plans for functional and environmental testing.
• Experienced in using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers and vector network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Test and calibrate the AESA radar system hardware and software.
• Own engineering and production testing of digital, RF and antenna cards.
• Drive test and calibration equipment for AESA radar in collaboration with the hardware design team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for radar system integration and flight testing.
• Support data collection and system checkout flights; assist with DO-160, DO-254, and FCC certification.
