Job summary

Reliable Robotics is developing automated aviation systems to enhance safety and transform air travel. The RF Hardware Design Engineer will design digital/analog circuits for a phased-array radar, from concept through production and certification, working with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes DO-160/DO-254 and FCC certification, lab testing on aircraft, and collaboration with system engineers. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years with high-speed digital circuits and RF design up to 12 GHz.
  • Experience with circuit simulators, Altium, SPICE.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues at system level.
  • Familiarity with test equipment: oscilloscopes, VNA, spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

  • Design digital and analog circuits for a next-generation Radar system.
  • Own schematic/layout, bring-up, and certification effort (DO-160, DO-254, FCC).
  • Collaborate with mechanical and system teams across development lifecycle.
  • Support radar system integration and lab testing on aircraft.
