Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of welding experience, with the ability to pass weld tests and read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of welding experience.
• Must be able to provide an acceptable written and practical weld test.
• Reads, understands and correctly interprets basic blueprint drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operation of Aluminum Welding.
• Perform rework and development hardware as required.
• Manufacture and/or tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications.
• Maintain accurate and reliable documentation.
• Perform inspection and/or testing to ensure parts are machined per blueprint specs; visually inspect for burrs or damage.
• Remove burrs and tool marks to meet engineering tolerances.
• Maintain proper identification of parts and ensure reliable records.
• Communicate shift requirements to ensure team has accurate information.
