Job summary

Williams International, based in Ogden, Utah, is seeking a Casting Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will operate investment casting equipment, perform finishing duties, and support process improvements while maintaining quality records.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, inspecting parts, documenting results, and collaborating with maintenance to keep foundry equipment running safely. A high school diploma and physical ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

  • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs from floor to waist.
  • Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.
  • Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Set-up and operation of investment foundry machines and equipment.
  • Manufacture and/or test parts according to engineering standards and specs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of results.
  • Establish manufacturing methods and tooling requirements to meet tolerances.
  • Perform inspection and testing to ensure parts meet standards.
  • Provide input on equipment selection and adjustments for material size.
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, and flash from parts to meet engineering requirements.
  • Maintain proper identification of parts and reliable records.
  • Communicate shift changes to ensure accurate information.
