Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks an experienced leader to manage throughput and personnel in specialized welding and forming manufacturing operations. You will lead a team of technicians and welders, ensuring quality, crane safety for large/complex hardware, and efficiency across welding processes and precision forming activities.

You will coordinate with engineering, quality, and production planning to meet schedules, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a safe, compliant manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in welding or metal forming.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with TIG and seam welding of aluminum/special alloys.
• Familiarity with quality systems and standards (ISO, AS9100, D17.1).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of welding and forming.
• Mentor and develop a team of technicians and operators.
• Ensure quality standards, specifications, and production schedules are met.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and production planning to ensure schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and improve productivity.
