Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to support manufacturing and development for aerospace hardware. You will establish and maintain quality systems, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design for manufacturability.

The role requires a strong background in AS9100/ISO9001, Six Sigma, and data-driven decision making. Candidates should be U.S. citizens or eligible to work in the U.S. and thrive in a fast-paced spaceflight environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of a B.S. in engineering with 6+ years of quality experience in aerospace.
Experience in production environments; familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001.
U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes across development and production environments.
Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance to meet goals.
Participate in engineering design reviews and improve manufacturability of designs.
Define and execute process validation protocols for new/changed manufacturing processes.
Lead root cause investigations using structured methodologies and implement corrective actions.
