Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Operations supervisor to lead a cross-functional crew in on-vehicle welding, bending, and fabrication for GS1/GS2 launch vehicles. You will guide teammates, ensure safety, and drive continuous improvement across the shop while coordinating production schedules and training.

Extended hours and shifts may be required. The role emphasizes leadership, reliability, and collaboration across multiple disciplines to deliver high-quality components on time,

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or a relevant field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with dynamic teams.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing, in person, and via video calls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel within Manufacturing Operations related to on-vehicle welding and fabrication.
• Guide teammates and ensure resources are available for safe success.
• Conduct regular check-ins to assess performance and growth.
• Screen candidates, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations.
• Develop process improvements and safety initiatives.
• Maintain shop programs: Safety, 5S, Lean, FOD, clean-as-you-go.
