Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a skilled welder to perform a wide range of manual welds on stainless steel and aluminum components in support of aerospace fuel systems.

The role requires reading process drawings, applying welding techniques per engineering specs, and maintaining safety and lean manufacturing practices. You will train others, document work, and ensure quality conformance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements.
• Learns the supports lean manufacturing concepts and methods including cell setup, mapping, and value streaming for efficient product flow.
• Perform a variety of approved welding techniques to required tolerances per engineering specifications; may work on new product development or experimental materials under direction of engineering.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge and ability levels to efficiently perform all assigned work and utilize this knowledge base to become proficient in new/unfamiliar assignments.
