Job summary

Parker Hannifin's Exotic Metals Forming Division in Phoenix seeks an Aerospace Component Fabricator 1 to weld, assemble and inspect sheet metal aerospace components in a fast-paced environment. You will grow into additional skill sets with training and on-the-job learning.

You will perform drilling, riveting, fit and finish, and ensure parts meet tolerances using calipers and micrometers. The role requires adherence to safety standards and quality procedures, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Welding, assembly and inspection of sheet metal aerospace components.
• Able to complete TIG weld training or have equivalent experience.
• Capable of obtaining Exotic Metals weld qualifications/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for furnace loading and final cleaning.
• Evaluate load configuration for batch size and furnace limits.
• Manufacture load thermocouples and perform welding tasks.
• Drilling, reaming, countersinking, riveting to assemble sub-assemblies.
• Interpret drawings, weld schedules and documents; document inspection findings.
