Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish and maintain quality systems for development and production of aerospace hardware. You will measure, analyze, and improve quality performance while supporting design reviews to enhance manufacturability.

The role involves defining validation protocols, reviewing documents, and leading root cause investigations to drive continuous improvement within the Manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• BS/engineering or STEM degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Quality assurance experience in production environments.
• Aerospace, space launch, military/commercial aviation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality system processes for development and production.
• Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements for manufacturability.
• Define and execute process validation protocols for new/changed processes.
• Review and approve manufacturing build documents and nonconformance records.
• Lead root cause investigations (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa).
• Develop and verify corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
