Job summary

Marand US Holdings is seeking a highly motivated Weld Engineer to develop, qualify, implement, and improve welding processes for aerospace and defense products at our Fort Worth facility. You will ensure compliance with customer specs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of welding engineering experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or regulated environments.
• CWE or CWI certification required.
• Familiarity with AWS D17.1 Aerospace Welding Code and AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience with NADCAP welding accreditation requirements is preferred.
• Experience with robotic or automated welding systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, implement, and maintain welding procedures, WPS, PQR, and WPQ in compliance with customer, military, aerospace, AWS, ASME, and internal requirements.
• Provide technical guidance for GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), resistance welding, and other welding processes.
• Support production readiness reviews and transition from development to production.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to ensure weldability and manufacturability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and SPC.
