Job summary

Chromalloy Corp. is seeking a Wax Injection Mold Machine Operator to set up and run wax injection molding equipment used to produce precision wax patterns, gating, sprues, and related components for aerospace manufacturing.

You will inspect finished parts, monitor temperatures and cycle parameters, perform routine TPM checks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Training and standard work are provided, with opportunities to grow in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months in manufacturing or machine operation.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and safe operation of machinery.
• Understanding of production processes and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual inspections.
• Good hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive, precision tasks.
• Ability to work safely, follow procedures, and contribute to a team.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wax injection molding machines following engineering practices and work instructions.
• Prepare and install dies, cores, and tooling for production runs.
• Load materials and monitor machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle parameters.
• Produce wax patterns, sprues, gating, and related components to quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and perform minor cleaning or deflashing as needed.
• Obtain and verify x-ray results for cored patterns when required.
• Complete production paperwork and sign off on routers.
• Perform daily TPM checks and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Transfer completed parts to the next operation and communicate quality concerns or production issues.
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard work requirements.
