Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation is seeking a Wax Injection Mold Machine Operator to run wax injection molding equipment, producing precise wax patterns and related components for aerospace manufacturing. You’ll set up dies, monitor temperatures, and ensure part quality while upholding safety and process standards.

Responsibilities include loading materials, inspecting parts, and completing production paperwork. Training and first-shift hours apply, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ months of manufacturing, machine operation, production, or related experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to safely operate machinery and tooling.
• Knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
• Ability to monitor machine performance and recognize process issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform visual inspections.
• Good hand dexterity and ability to perform repetitive, precision tasks.
• Ability to work safely, follow procedures, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wax injection molding machines following engineering practices and work instructions.
• Prepare and install dies, cores, and tooling for production runs.
• Load materials and monitor machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle parameters.
• Produce wax patterns, sprues, gating, and related components to quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and perform minor cleaning or deflashing as needed.
• Obtain and verify x-ray results for cored patterns when required.
• Complete production paperwork and sign off on routers.
• Perform daily TPM checks and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Transfer completed parts to the next operation and communicate quality concerns or production issues.
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard work requirements.
