Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking Wax Cell Operator(s) for the Hampton, Virginia facility. The role requires 2nd shift hours (M-F 2pm-10pm) with 1st shift training (M-F 6am-2pm).

A $1.00 per hour shift premium applies when on off shifts. You will pattern repair, gauge, and assemble patterns for Monoshell preparation. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience or training, be legally eligible to work in the U.S., and be able to work all shifts

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of continuous experience or training.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including second, third, and weekends; overtime may be required.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Access to export-controlled items; eligibility to obtain access is required.

Responsabilidades

• Use Ultrasonic Hand Gauge to measure wall thickness of .070 in or greater.
• Gauge wall thickness using mechanical gauges.
• Read and follow work instructions and mold sheets.
• Pattern repair coming from injection process.
• Gauge and disposition patterns; rework as needed.
• Record data manually or by computer as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
