Job summary

Electro-Methods, a Stronvar Aerospace Company, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in South Windsor, CT. The role supports aerospace manufacturing operations through hands-on material handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving activities to ensure timely material movement and production alignment.

Responsibilities include inspecting and recording materials, maintaining accurate ERP/MRP transactions, and supporting 5S and Lean continuous improvement initiatives while upholding AS9100

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read work orders, packing slips, and basic inventory documentation.
• Basic computer skills; ERP/MRP system experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Identify, label, and store raw materials, hardware, WIP, and finished goods in assigned locations.
• Transact receipts, issues, and transfers in the ERP/MRP system.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories to maintain accuracy.
• Report discrepancies, damages, or nonconforming materials promptly.
• Pick, kit, and stage materials per work orders and production schedules.
• Deliver materials to manufacturing cells to support production flow.
• Return unused materials to inventory with proper documentation and system updates.
• Support kanban processes where applicable.
• Package, label, and prepare outbound shipments; verify contents.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and internal stakeholders.
