Job summary

Howmet Aerospace in Carson, CA is hiring for an Materials/Shipping Associate. This on-site role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, staging and shipping finished goods, and supporting cycle counts to ensure smooth production flow.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience; preferred is 2 years in manufacturing with ERP/SAP knowledge. Competitive wages with health insurance, 401k matching, holidays and vacation are offered.

Responsibilities

Maintain inventory accuracy and control of material stores including finished goods and raw materials.
Package, stage, and ship finished goods; expedite critical shipments when necessary.
Assist with cycle counting.
Responsible for the flow and movement of materials to and from the factory.
Support continuous improvement efforts in daily activities.
Resolve materials-related issues with supervision as needed.
Perform tasks to support manufacturing operations, customers, and suppliers.
Comply with EHS rules and report incidents to supervisor.
Work with minimal supervision and maintain 5S standards.
