Job summary

Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce is seeking an experienced Visual/Dimensional Inspector for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri). The position emphasizes compliance with FAA and other regulatory bodies, with extensive in-house training and hands-on development in a state-of-the-art facility opened in 2023.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level inspector responsible for aerospace and marine gas turbine engine components for airworthiness and OEM conformance.
• Must read and interpret OEM manuals and FAA/standards to determine serviceability.
• Strong documentation and reporting of inspection findings.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect components for wear, corrosion, fretting, gouges, bent features or damage.
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, surface gauges and dial indicators to verify sizes.
• Determine feature acceptability for serviceability, reparability, and overhaul.
