Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, located in Mentor, OH, seeks an intermediate level Visual/Dimensional Inspector to verify airworthiness and conformance to OEM standards during receiving, in‑process, and final inspections. Work includes validating CRT and subcontractor work in accordance with FAA and global regulatory bodies.

The role benefits from an all‑new, state‑of‑the‑art facility opened in 2023, with extensive in‑house training and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in aircraft maintenance or equivalent technical accreditation.
• Exposure to visual inspection methods and aids for inspected articles.
• Proficiency with calipers, borescopes, micrometers, and optical/electronic comparators.
• General knowledge of turbine engine components, functions, repairs and shop processes.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect turbine engine components for wear, damage, and conformance to OEM standards.
• Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to verify sizes.
• Determine serviceability and reparability of parts; document findings accurately.
• Interpret OEM manuals and prepared documentation for airworthiness and repair status.
