Qualifications

• Leads the daily operations of the Inspection Department on the assigned shift.
• Ensures safety, quality, and customer requirements are met.
• Coaches and mentors inspectors in methods and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Inspection Department during the shift, ensuring safety and efficiency and compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Promote and enforce safety policies while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Direct resources and workload to meet departmental goals and schedules.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to inspection personnel on methods and standards.
• Monitor work in progress and review inspections to ensure quality and productivity.
• Develop and hold team members accountable for performance and conduct.
• Collaborate with the Inspection Department Manager on employee development and evaluations.
• Support training and ongoing development of inspection personnel.
• Use company software to assign work, track performance, and maintain records.
• Analyze operational metrics and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain certification and perform inspection duties as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support organizational objectives.
