Job summary

Hartzell Propeller LLC is seeking a vibration test engineer to conduct propeller vibration test activities and determine compatible propeller/engine configurations for aircraft installations. Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Aerospace Engineering Tech with an A&P certificate.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Flight test experience is a big plus; airplane pilot experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform propeller vibration test functions for determining propeller and engine compatibility.
• Manage project assignments including propeller vibration test planning and testing.
• Analyze and write technical reports documenting the propeller/engine/aircraft testing and compatibility.
• Communicate with co-workers, customers, and outside consultants regarding design, configuration and installation issues.
