Element Materials Technology is seeking a certified NDT UT Level II Inspector to perform immersion UT on aerospace components in South Windsor, CT. You will set up equipment, calibrate, and evaluate parts for acceptance or rejection with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Current UT Level II certification in NAS 410 / SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of hands-on immersion UT experience, preferably in aerospace or critical components.
• Strong understanding of ultrasonic theory, sound beam characteristics, transducer selection, and data interpretation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to safety, quality and inspection accuracy.
• Collaborative mindset and success in a team-based inspection environment.

Responsabilités

• Set up, calibrate, and operate immersion ultrasonic testing equipment.
• Perform UT inspections and evaluate aerospace components for acceptance or rejection.
• Select appropriate techniques and transducers based on inspection requirements.
• Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results.
• Read and follow drawings, specifications, and NDT procedures.
• Partner with inspectors and production teams to maintain quality and delivery commitments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
