Job summary

AAA-USA Inc. seeks skilled NDT professionals experienced in inspecting aircraft components using Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Must be able to relocate to Kinston, NC for work, with overtime opportunities and relocation assistance.

The role involves evaluating components for compliance with engineering, quality, and customer requirements, and guiding junior NDI staff. Candidates should hold UT Level I/II certifications and have 800+ hours of UT training or on-job experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience performing UT in aerospace, manufacturing, or precision inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, procedures and documentation.
• Strong understanding of NDT principles, inspection procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondestructive inspections to evaluate properties and condition of materials, components, and systems without causing damage.
• Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) using phased array, pulse-echo, shear wave, and through-transmission methods.
• Utilize NDI methods and equipment to verify parts and processes meet requirements.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate ultrasonic inspection equipment per procedures and specs.
• Document inspection results and nonconforming conditions per procedures and quality rules.
• Maintain inspection equipment, records, and certifications.
• Provide guidance and training to junior NDI personnel as required.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
