Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. in Mentor, OH seeks an experienced CNC Milling Machinist Technician to program, set up, and operate milling equipment to produce turbine engine components per OEM specs.

You will work in a modern, climate-controlled facility alongside seasoned machinists, reading blueprints, selecting tooling, and ensuring first article and critical dimensions are met.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience operating CNC Milling equipment.
• Experience with job shop or MTO environments is preferred.
• Strong problem solving on machine setups, tooling, fixturing.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Inspect parts with gauges, determine material removal with speeds and feeds.
• Operate machines to achieve specified dimensions and load/unload parts.
• Use inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, gauges, and hand tools.
• Identify and correct machining problems related to tools, holders, and fixtures.
• Record findings on work instructions and documentation.
• Perform finishing operations like deburring, tapping, honing, and bench work.
• Mentor or train other machinists in OJT programs when needed.
