Job summary

Mentorchamber in Mentor, Ohio, is seeking an Intermediate Level Repair & Assembly Technician for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri). You will perform a range of manufacturing tasks on aerospace and marine gas turbine engine components in a climate-controlled, modern facility.

Responsibilities include hand blending, drilling, tapping, riveting, assembly and disassembly, use of precision measuring devices, and ensuring work meets OEM specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual and powered tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and follow OEM instructions and engineering drawings.
• Willingness to work in a 3rd shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow OEM instructions and engineering work instructions.
• Use hand-held tools to perform operations.
• Blend metals, weld, plate, and spray coatings.
• Blend and remove nicks to restore contour.
• Disassembly and assembly of engine components.
• Drill, tap, ream; operate small machines.
• Use measuring devices to verify dimensions.
• Inspect work for quality to standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve results.
