Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Tooling Specialist to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, organizing, and optimizing tooling used in production. This role ensures tooling availability for production teams to meet quality and delivery goals.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 6am shift, in Buckeye, AZ, with opportunities for growth and participation in bonus programs and tuition reimbursement. 2+ years in tooling or aerospace environments, blueprint reading, and MS Office/ERP-MRP

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in tooling, machining, manufacturing, or aerospace environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of tooling maintenance, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, repair, and organize production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Issue, track, and manage tooling inventory to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate tooling calibration, maintenance schedules, and replacement needs.
• Support production teams with tooling setup, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
• Maintain accurate tooling records and documentation.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve tooling performance.
• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
