Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Tooling Specialist to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, organizing, and optimizing tooling used in production. This role ensures tooling availability, preventive maintenance, repairs, and setup support to meet quality and delivery goals.

Based in Anaheim, CA, the position runs Monday–Friday with a 6am shift. The team collaborates with engineering, quality, and production to improve tooling performance and drive efficiency, while benefiting from

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tooling, machining, manufacturing, or aerospace experience.
• Able to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specs.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of tooling maintenance and inventory control.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, repair, and organize production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Issue, track, and manage tooling inventory to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate tooling calibration, maintenance schedules, and replacement needs.
• Support production teams with tooling setup, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
• Maintain accurate tooling records and documentation.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve tooling performance.
• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
