Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Tooling Specialist to support aerospace manufacturing operations by maintaining, organizing, and optimizing tooling used in production.

You will ensure tooling inventory accuracy, schedule maintenance, and assist with setup and changeovers to meet quality and delivery goals.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Knowledge of tooling maintenance, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, repair, and organize production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Issue, track, and manage tooling inventory to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate tooling calibration, maintenance schedules, and replacement needs.
• Support production teams with tooling setup, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
• Maintain accurate tooling records and documentation.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve tooling performance.
• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.

Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tooling Specialist to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, organizing, and optimizing tooling used in production. This role is responsible for tooling inventory, preventative maintenance, repairs, setup support, and ensuring production teams have the tools necessary to meet quality and delivery goals.

Monday-Friday
6am shift

• Maintain, inspect, repair, and organize production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Issue, track, and manage tooling inventory to support manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate tooling calibration, maintenance schedules, and replacement needs.
• Support production teams with tooling setup, troubleshooting, and changeovers.
• Maintain accurate tooling records and documentation.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve tooling performance.
• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in tooling, machining, manufacturing, or aerospace environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of tooling maintenance, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Aerospace, medical device, or precision manufacturing environment.
• CNC machining, fabrication, or tooling support experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems.
