Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Manufacturing Tooling Engineer II/III for an onsite 1-year contract in Rocket Park, FL. You will design tooling for New Glenn, create CAD models, and manage tooling projects from concept through commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in tooling, experience with Creo and Windchill, GD&T, and strong problem-solving skills. This position requires US citizenship or residency status and offers a technical, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with tooling design, fabrication, and procurement.
• Proven experience with CAD-based design for modeling and drafting.
• Solid understanding of GD&T and engineering fundamentals.
• Three or more years of direct manufacturing experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or legally admitted into the U.S. as refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and release CAD models and drawings for simple tooling per ASME Y14.5 standards.
• Solve technical design challenges involving fixtures, material-handling equipment, rotisseries, test fixtures, weldments, environmental chambers, and custom machinery.
• Manage tooling projects from concept through commissioning, including vendor selection and procurement.
• Establish procurement and fabrication priorities and communicate them to the team.
• Define and support repair and rework activities.
• Perform root cause analyses for nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
• Develop material-handling and packaging requirements to protect hardware.
• Collaborate with designers and Manufacturing/Integration engineers to optimize safety, cost, quality, and delivery.
